Acceptable Use Policy
What you can and cannot build, deploy, or market through Moonshift. Short version first; specifics below.
Effective 2026-04-23 · Last updated 2026-05-17
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to (a) anything you send as a prompt, (b) anything the pipeline generates on your behalf, (c) anything you choose to deploy or publish via the service. Violations of this AUP are violations of our Terms of Service.
2. Prohibited uses
You may not use Moonshift to generate, deploy, or promote material that:
- Is illegal in the jurisdictions where you or your users are located.
- Infringes copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual-property rights.
- Violates privacy rights, including building tools that collect, aggregate, or publish personal data without consent.
- Is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or bullying.
- Sexually exploits or endangers minors in any form.
- Depicts non-consensual sexual content or deepfake sexual content of real people.
- Is designed to deceive (phishing, scams, fraudulent schemes, impersonation of real people or brands without consent).
- Generates, distributes, or helps develop weapons, explosives, biological or chemical agents, or malware.
- Facilitates illegal gambling, controlled substances, or human trafficking.
- Promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
- Contains hate speech or incites violence against groups defined by race, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar protected characteristics.
- Violates export controls or sanctions lists.
3. Platform abuse
You may not use Moonshift to attack, degrade, or circumvent the service or third-party services we integrate with. Specifically, you may not:
- Attempt to bypass budget caps, rate limits, authentication, or the human-approval gate.
- Use the service to mass-generate spam for X, LinkedIn, or email.
- Scrape, mirror, or re-sell the service or the underlying LLM endpoints.
- Interfere with other users' runs, data, or sessions.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service except under a formal security-research agreement with us.
- Use the service to violate GitHub, Vercel, X, LinkedIn, OpenAI, Anthropic, Dodo, or any other integrated provider's terms.
4. AI and content responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing what the agents generate before you deploy it, publish it, or otherwise rely on it. The pipeline includes a mandatory human-in-the-loop approval step before any post goes to your connected X or LinkedIn account — this is intentional, and you must not bypass it.
5. Reporting abuse
If you encounter content deployed through Moonshift that violates this AUP, email [email protected] with a link and a short description. We investigate and act on reports within 48 hours.
6. Enforcement
- We may remove content, suspend runs, or terminate your account for AUP violations, with or without notice depending on severity.
- We cooperate with lawful requests from law enforcement.
- For severe or repeated violations, you may be permanently banned and reported to relevant providers and authorities.
7. Changes
We may update this AUP as the threat landscape or product evolves. Changes take effect on posting. Material changes will be notified by email.
