Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Moonshift. By using the service you accept these terms.
Effective 2026-04-23 · Last updated 2026-05-17
1. Who you’re contracting with
These Terms are an agreement between you and Harjot Singh Rana (sole proprietor) (“Moonshift”, “we”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Acceptable Use Policy.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where required) to use Moonshift.
- You're responsible for the security of your account and for all activity under it.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or the AUP.
3. The service
Moonshift is an autonomous pipeline that turns a prompt into a deployed application, a GitHub repository, drafted launch posts, and a hero image. The pipeline is gated by a human-in-the-loop step before anything is published to your connected social accounts.
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis during beta. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, with reasonable advance notice for material changes affecting paid customers.
4. Your content and generated artifacts
- You retain all rights in the prompts you send and the inputs you provide.
- You own the code, images, and marketing artifacts the pipeline generates for you, subject to third-party open-source licenses on any bundled dependencies.
- You grant us the limited rights we need to run the service: to process your prompts, generate artifacts, deploy to your connected accounts, and display your content back to you.
- We may use aggregate, de-identified usage data to improve the service.
- If you submit feedback, bug reports, or suggestions, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without attribution.
5. AI-generated output
In particular: the contract validator and auditor agents reduce but do not eliminate the risk of broken code. The publisher agent drafts social posts and parks them at a human-approval gate — you are responsible for reviewing the copy before approving.
6. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: don’t use Moonshift to build or promote anything illegal, harmful, deceptive, or abusive. We will terminate accounts that do.
7. Third-party services
Moonshift deploys to and integrates with third-party services (Hostinger, Turso, GitHub, Vercel, X, LinkedIn, Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, Dodo Payments, Cloudflare R2, Resend, PostHog, Sentry, Google Analytics). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, security, or content.
8. Payments, credits, and refunds
- Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly cadence by Dodo Payments.
- Moons are launch credits. Each plan grants a monthly moon allowance; a typical launch uses ~700 moons. Plan prices and per-launch cost are disclosed on the pricing page.
- Unused credits do not expire during the beta period. We may introduce expiry with 30 days' notice.
- Usage is billed against your credit balance in real time. When the balance hits zero, the pipeline is paused until you top up or renew.
- We enforce a hard per-run spend cap so you cannot overshoot a budget by more than one agent call. The current cap value for your tier is shown in your account dashboard.
- Paid subscriptions are refundable within 14 days of purchase if you have not consumed the majority of the included credits. Moon packs are non-refundable once credits are consumed. Contact [email protected] for refund requests.
- We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Changes apply at your next renewal.
9. Free tier and beta
During the beta, some features are offered free of charge or at a discounted rate. Free-tier usage is subject to fair-use limits. We may adjust limits or remove the free tier at any time; paid subscribers are unaffected except on renewal.
10. Intellectual property
The Moonshift name, logo, website, documentation, and proprietary orchestration code are our intellectual property. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the service for your own purposes during the subscription term. You may not copy, resell, or build a competing product from the proprietary portions of the service.
11. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
12. Warranty disclaimer
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR FREEDOM FROM ERRORS OR DEFECTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT AI-GENERATED OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL MOONSHIFT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (b) US$100.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Harjot Singh Rana (sole proprietor) and its operators from any claim arising out of your use of the service, including claims that your content, your prompts, or the artifacts you choose to publish violate third-party rights or applicable law.
15. Termination
- You may terminate at any time by deleting your account.
- We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, the AUP, or for nonpayment after a 14-day cure period.
- On termination, your access to the service ends immediately. You may export your data for 30 days after termination.
- Sections that by their nature should survive (IP, warranties, liability, indemnity, governing law) survive termination.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted with at least 14 days’ notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
