Do I need to know any code?
No. You type a sentence. Everything else is point-and-click. If you want to hand the files to a developer later, you can. You never have to touch code.
Will my site look like every other Moonshift site?
No. Each site is written for your specific business. Same tool, different output. Your bakery in Pune will not look like a yoga studio in Berlin.
What do I actually own?
Everything. The site files are saved to your own account. The URL is yours. The content is yours. If you ever want to leave, you take it all with you.
Can I use my own domain (mybakery.com)?
Yes. Free plan ships your site on a Moonshift link. Paid plans let you point your own domain at it. If you do not have a domain yet, we will tell you how to buy one in 2 minutes.
How fast is the build?
Most sites are live in about 6 minutes. Some take a bit longer if your description has more pages or more detail.
Can I change the site after it goes live?
Yes. Use iterate to ask for changes. "Change the headline." "Swap the photo on the about page." "Add a delivery section." It rewrites without starting from scratch.
What about photos? I do not have great ones.
Moonshift uses clean, neutral images by default. The single biggest upgrade you can do later is replace one or two with real photos of you or your space. Even a phone shot beats a stock image.
Does it work in my language?
You can ask for the site to be written in your language. Tell us which one in the prompt. "Bakery in Lisbon. Site in Portuguese."
Will it post to my Instagram or LinkedIn for me?
It drafts launch posts and shows them to you. Nothing is posted until you approve. You stay in control of your accounts.
What if I do not like the result?
Run it again. The cost per build is tiny. Use iterate to fix what is off. If you want a refund on a paid plan, write to us and we usually say yes.
Is my information safe?
We do not sell your data. We use your input only to build your site and improve our product. You can delete your account and all your data any time.
I am a freelancer / agency. Can I use this with clients?
Yes. The Pro plan ($99/month, 35,000 moons - about 50 launches) is built for that. Use Moonshift to ship the first draft on your client’s own GitHub + Vercel + Turso, then bill your client for the polish and the strategy. Everything lands in their accounts, so there is no lock-in or hand-off pain.
Will Moonshift do my marketing too?
Not the long-term marketing. We get you live and give you a launch checklist. The playbook walks you through the first 100 customers. After that, you are off to the races.
