//your first build

Your first build, step by step.

The concrete walkthrough from clicking the button to copying your live URL into a DM. Read once, then go ship.

What you need before you start

  • An idea you can write in one or two sentences.
  • An email address (we send you a sign-in link).
  • About ten minutes. The build takes ~6. The reading takes the rest.

The walkthrough

  1. step 01
    Open the create screen

Click Start a build from any page. Sign in with email if you have not yet. You land on a single big text box.

  2. step 02
    Write your one sentence

Be specific. Name the audience, the product or service, and the city or vertical if relevant.

  3. step 03
    Hit Ship

The page shows progress as Moonshift reads, plans, writes, and ships. You can leave the tab and come back.

  4. step 04
    Open the live link

When the build is done, a button appears. Click it. Your site opens in a new tab on a real URL.

  5. step 05
Approve or skip the launch posts

Moonshift drafts short posts for X and LinkedIn. You can approve, edit, or skip them all.

  6. step 06
    Share the link

Drop it in your group chat, your DMs, your status. The first 10 readers are the most valuable signal you will get.

If something looks off

  • Wrong vibe. Use iterate. Tell it the tone you want in one line.
  • Wrong audience. Rerun with a sharper sentence. Name the audience explicitly.
  • Wrong feature. Iterate with one ask. Remove the gallery. Add a pricing section.

For anything else, see Troubleshooting.
